Murray was on the next train to Hornsby and was one the first riders get his hands on this magnificent new generation of ‘The Beast.’ Let's not mince words. The KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO is a 100%, hardcore, and dominant performance machine. It is truly an evolved BEAST. It brings intuitive WP Semi-Active Suspension Technology (SAT) to the vast array of standard rider aids. Being able to automatically adapt its suspension to the riders input or the road surface, it brings intelligence to the tarmac and into the hunt. And with 140 kW of power and 145 Nm torque on tap, Murray can rely on five unique riding modes and nine traction control settings to keep it all under control. Despite the 1390 EVO’s ‘Beast’ reputation, the bike is surprisingly easy to ride and genuinely comfortable to punt around town. All that aside, you can bet that Murray’s first ride back to the Blue Mountains was exciting.
